It depends on the type of procedure and the area that is being treated. Some treatment areas may be more sensitive than others. And some treatments can be more uncomfortable but for those treatments a topical numbing mediation may be applied. My main priority is the effectiveness of the treatment and client safety/ comfortability. Settings on the laser may be changed to accommodate a client’s pain tolerance.

For some procedures like the laser genesis facial downtime may range from 1-2 hours. For micro needling procedures typically 2-3 days downtime is common. For vascular and intense pigment removal with the laser or IPL 14 days maximum downtown may be seen.

For micro needling/hair regrowth/ vascular & pigment removal a series of 3 is recommended with additional maintenance treatments suggested. For laser hair removal depending on the thickness/ density of the hair a client will need an average of 10 treatments.
